Question 1

What is Ruhbot and what is Physical AI data?

Accepted Answer

Ruhbot is the premier data marketplace for Physical AI and robotics. It connects robotics laboratories and teleoperation operators with AI researchers training foundation models like ALOHA, RT-2, and LeRobot. Datasets include multi-camera video, synchronized joint states, torque, tactile feedback, and electrical sensor streams.

Question 2

How is data quality verified on Ruhbot?

Accepted Answer

Every upload runs through automated checks for sync accuracy (<1ms jitter), calibration drift, annotation coverage, and sensor noise. Results are published as an official, downloadable Quality Report.

Question 3

Which robotics data formats are supported?

Accepted Answer

Ruhbot supports ROS bag, HDF5, MCAP, RLDS, LeRobot (Hugging Face format), TFRecord, and Parquet, with on-the-fly conversion between most formats via the CLI and API.

Question 4

Can I preview datasets before buying?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Each dataset features an interactive synced telemetry player and free downloadable sample episodes with video, joint angles, torque, and current streams.

Question 5

Can I use Ruhbot datasets for commercial foundation model training?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Datasets labeled with Commercial licenses grant perpetual, royalty-free, worldwide rights to train, fine-tune, and deploy embodied foundation models and robotics systems into commercial products.

Question 6

How can I commission custom robot recordings?

Accepted Answer

Teams can post custom requests on the Requests board, specifying target robot hardware (UR5e, Franka Panda, ALOHA), grippers, sensor suite, tasks, and episode counts. Vetted operators fulfill and record the dataset with quality guarantees.

Question 7

How do sellers get paid on Ruhbot?

Accepted Answer

Sellers keep 85% of each sale. Payouts are sent weekly via bank transfer or stablecoin once the buyer’s 7-day review window closes.
